This division of the Clerk's office handles all various types of cases. District Criminal is where misdemeanor cases that are
handled in this division of court are all misdemeanor cases that happen outside of the city limits of Brundidge and Troy. Other misdemeanor cases that are processed through here are NWNI (worthless checks), Conservation tickets (game warden), revenue commission tickets, and ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control Board) violations. If someone is charged with a felony, this is the court where the case begins and will remain, until the case is presented and disposed by a Grand Jury.
